Texas Construction Association Member Benefits
The program provides for lower workers’ compensation insurance premiums to its subcontractor members through its group purchasing power and premium discounts. The program was developed by subcontractors to benefit subcontractors. In addition to participants being eligible for Texas Mutual Insurance Company’s regular dividend, they are also eligible for the Special TCA group dividend. TCA offers a multi-faceted health care program through Humana at a premium discount off Humana’s guaranteed issue medical insurance policies for employers with 2-50 employees, as well as a premium discount for employers with 51-99 employees. TCA has partnered with Office Depot’s National Commerce Group to provide our members with discounts on almost all products. TCA members receive 15-30% off the top 100 items businesses purchase most and up to 80% on additional business products. In addition to product discounts, our members pay only 2.5 cents for black and white copies, 29 cents for color copies, and receive 40% off finishing services. TCA has partnered with Wex! to offer members paycards for their employees at little to no cost. Texas Law states that employers no longer have to paper check and this gives employees without a bank account an option. More information can be found on the two flyers listed below.
